The Atoma Tsuboman Diamond Sharpening Plate #600 is a complete diamond sharpening stone featuring an aluminum base and a replaceable abrasive surface. Designed for routine sharpening and edge maintenance, the #600 grit provides an effective transition between coarse sharpening and finer finishing stages.

The working surface is coated with premium diamond abrasive particles arranged in Tsuboman's distinctive pattern. This design promotes efficient swarf removal, consistent abrasive action, and stable sharpening performance across the entire surface of the stone.

The #600 grit is particularly suitable for restoring dull edges, refining scratch patterns left by coarser abrasives, and preparing blades for higher grit finishing stones. It offers a balanced combination of cutting speed and control, making it a versatile choice for everyday sharpening tasks.

The diamond abrasive works efficiently on traditional carbon steels, stainless steels, and highly wear-resistant powder metallurgy steels. It performs exceptionally well on demanding steels such as ZDP-189, HAP-40, and SG2/R2, allowing efficient sharpening where conventional abrasives may be less effective.

The rigid aluminum base provides excellent stability and durability during use. As part of the Atoma system, the abrasive layer can be replaced when worn, extending the lifespan of the sharpening setup. The plate maintains its flatness throughout use and requires no flattening, ensuring consistent sharpening results over time.
