The Shapton Rockstar 10000 with Nika angle guide is a premium sharpening set designed for final edge refinement and polishing. It combines an ultra fine ceramic whetstone with a guide that ensures consistent sharpening angles.
The Shapton Rockstar #10000 stone is used for finishing and polishing after standard sharpening stages. Its ultra fine grit produces extremely sharp edges and near mirror finishes. Nano scale abrasive particles allow precise edge refinement without excessive material removal.
The Rockstar series, introduced in 2023, represents the most advanced ceramic stones from Shapton. These stones are highly durable, slow wearing, and maintain consistent performance even when used on high hardness steels such as R2 or ZDP-189.
The Splash and Go design eliminates soaking. A quick splash of water is enough to begin sharpening.
The Nika angle guide maintains a consistent sharpening angle of approximately 15°, improving control and repeatability. A ceramic contact surface increases durability and ensures smooth movement on the stone.
