The Morihei Hishiboshi Nagura Fine is an auxiliary abrasive stone designed for use with synthetic stones of lower and medium grit (recommended range: #1000–#4000). It is used to generate abrasive slurry and reactivate the surface after flattening, which improves the effectiveness and smoothness of sharpening.
This stone was developed as a supporting tool for the Morihei Hishiboshi Hi series, but it is also compatible with other synthetic stones. It facilitates maintaining a stable work pace, improves the contact between the blade and the work surface, and supports even edge removal.
