Return Policy

30-Day Returns
You may return your order within 30 days of the delivery date. If more than 30 days have passed, we can’t offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging.

Damaged or defective on arrival
We carefully inspect every item before dispatch, but damage can happen in transit. If your product arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, we’ll refund the full amount including the original shipping cost.

Custom-made products (e.g., engraved knives)

Custom-made items aren’t returnable.

Cancellations

• Before processing: You can cancel before we process your order (usually within 1 business day) for a full refund including shipping. Email info@knivesofjapan.com as soon as possible.

• After processing/shipped: You may still cancel, but you’ll first need to receive the order and then return it to us for a refund.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you with the next steps. We’ll process the refund to your original payment method within a few days.

Exchanges

If you need an exchange, contact us at info@knivesofjapan.com and we’ll provide instructions.
Fastest option: place a new order for the item you want and return the original for a refund.
