Suehiro Cerax 1000 is a fast and effective ceramic stone with a very high concentration of abrasive. The 1000 grit makes it the most versatile and universal sharpening stone. We recommend it for both regular knife sharpening and for creating a new cutting edge. Sharpening can be continued on the Cerax 6000, Ouka 3000, or Rika 5000 stones. Cerax 1000 also increases the contrast between hard and soft steel (Hagane and Jigane), giving a Kasumi finish.

Suehiro Rika 5000 is a legendary fast ceramic stone, used not only for sharpening, but primarily for finishing the cutting edge.

It is a very easy to use, almost “creamy” smooth stone that cuts steel quite quickly, but is ideal for finishing the cutting edge, giving brilliant “feedback.” We recommend it for regular sharpening and finishing knives, chisels, and planes. It is one of the best finishing stones, giving a beautiful finish.
