The Masakage Yuki Nakiri Kitchen Knife, with a blade length of 165 mm, resembles a cleaver in appearance. However, unlike this tool, it has a thin blade. This makes the Masakage Yuki Nakiri perfect for chopping and cutting vegetables.

The beautiful, handcrafted Masakage Yuki knives are created by master craftsman Yoshimi Kato, from Takefu Knife Village. Takayuki Shibata is responsible for sharpening them. The production process uses Shirogami #2 carbon steel, which is used to create a hard core. The San Mai construction involves covering it with stainless steel on both sides. Thanks to the heat treatment, the blades achieve a hardness of 62-63 HRC. They have a delicate Nashiji finish, which gives the knives an elegant look. The unusual geometry of the cutting edge allows for smooth cutting. Another characteristic feature of this collection is the oval handle, which is made of beautiful magnolia wood. The knives are also decorated with a red Pakka wood ferrule. The apt name of the Yuki series means “snow” – the Nashiji finish resembles it, and the white and red handle gives the whole knife a “winter” character. The handmade production method gives the collection a unique look.
