The Sakai Kikumori Gokujyo Petty small kitchen knife has a blade length of 150 mm. It is very handy and suitable for performing precise tasks while cooking. It can be used to easily peel and cut smaller pieces of vegetables or meat. The Sakai Kikumori Gokujyo Petty is a smaller version of a chef's knife, making it indispensable for everyday kitchen work.

The well-known Sakai Kikumori Gokujyo series of kitchen knives is used professionally by demanding chefs, but is also suitable for use by lovers of Japanese cooking and craftsmanship. These knives are forged and finished by hand by skilled craftsmen in Japan. The blades are made using the Warikomi lamination technique, i.e., a strong core of Yasuki White 2 carbon steel (Hagane) is surrounded by soft iron cladding (Jigane). The hardening process used gives the blades a high level of hardness (62-63 HRC), and, combined with the heat treatment of the steel, ensures that each knife is exceptionally easy to sharpen. An additional advantage is certainly the fact that they maintain such high sharpness for a long time.

The magnolia wood handle is octagonal in shape and additionally features an elegant buffalo horn ferrule. Delightful in both aesthetics and functionality, Sakai Kikumori Gokujyo kitchen knives are a manifestation of outstanding Japanese craftsmanship and high-quality workmanship. The steel used to make the strong blades is not stainless, so it is recommended to wash and dry the knife after each use.
