Suehiro Fine-Grain Polishing Powder for Dull / Glossy Finish Whetstones is a precision abrasive designed for final surface refinement of finishing whetstones and controlled blade polishing. Developed by Suehiro, it is intended for applications where uniform texture and high surface consistency are required.
The fine-grain abrasive composition allows subtle smoothing of Dull / Glossy Finish whetstones, helping to stabilize the stone surface for final-stage sharpening and finishing. Used with water and a flattening stone or working plate, the powder supports even surface conditioning without aggressive abrasion.
It can also be applied to fine blade surface polishing, including refinement of kasumi-style finishes and gentle steel surface adjustment after sharpening. Proper cleaning and drying after use are recommended.
