The Naniwa Chosera sharpening stone, with a grit of 1000, is recommended as a basic sharpening tool that should be included in every set. It can be used to quickly remove steel, and its additional advantage is that it wears slowly. The composition of the binder used means that it should not be soaked for too long – Naniwa Professional stones belong to the “splash & go” group, which means that you just need to pour water on them and you can start sharpening right away.
Naniwa A-902 is the perfect holder for sharpening stones, keeping them in place while sharpening. It can be easily adjusted using a set of screws. This allows sharpening stones up to 22 cm long to be mounted in the holder.
