As a result of hardening, the blades acquire extraordinary sharpness, reaching 63-64 HRC. They can be sharpened very easily thanks to heat treatment and hardening, among other things. This technique also contributes to the long-lasting sharpness of the blade. The unique, raw character of the knives is ensured by the attractive black finish of the blade, called Kurouchi. The oval handle is made of cherry wood and finished with a beautiful red ferrule.
