The Yoshimi Kato Japanese Santoku Knife with a blade length of 17 cm is perfect for a variety of kitchen tasks, from chopping to cutting meat, fruit, and vegetables. Extremely popular in Japanese kitchens, Santoku knives have become an indispensable piece of culinary equipment.

Our hand-forged Damascus Santoku kitchen knife, created by Yoshimi Kato, combines excellent functionality with exceptional aesthetics. Using VG-10 steel, the hard core is surrounded by 63 layers of black Damascus steel, giving it extraordinary beauty. Excellent geometry and finish are just some of the advantages of these elegant kitchen accessories. The blades have been beautifully polished, and, thanks to heat treatment, achieve a hardness of 61-62 HRC, ensuring long-lasting sharpness.

The dark rosewood handle is oval in shape, making it perfect for both left- and right-handed users. Lovers of Japanese craftsmanship should definitely get Yoshimi Kato knives, made by a master who took care of both their aesthetics and the unforgettable experience of using them.
