The Suehiro Cerax 320 is an exceptionally effective ceramic stone that cuts steel very quickly. Although this is not standard for this grit, sharpening with the Cerax 320 stone is very pleasant and easy. We recommend this stone especially for repairing chipped edges, broken tips, or creating a new cutting edge. Sharpening can be continued on the Cerax 1000 stone.
Suehiro stones from the Cerax series are currently among the best sharpening stones on the market. Cerax stones are medium-hard and require a short, 5-10 minute soak before sharpening. Thanks to their high concentration of abrasive, they are perfect for sharpening even hard powder steels, such as ZDP-189 or R2. The stone is sold in a set with Nagura — a small, harder stone for cleaning, and a rubber holder that stabilizes the stone during sharpening.
Suehiro is a renowned Japanese manufacturer of sharpening stones from Niigata Prefecture in Japan. Suehiro has been producing its stones for over 50 years, maintaining the highest level of quality. Suehiro sharpening stones are made from the best materials and to the highest quality standards — a stone bought 20 years ago will have the same properties as a new one.
